Senior Accountant
Rapidly growing biotech company in the Malvern area is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their Accounting Department. Great opportunity to be a part of an extremely innovative company with a great mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor general ledger activity, ensuring entries are accurate and consistent, financial accounts are reconciled, and outstanding issues resolved on a timely basis to minimize financial errors.
- Supporting monthly closings by preparing journal entries, analyzing, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Perform and document internal controls over financial close and financial reporting.
- Assist in month-end preparation of financial reporting packages for management and lenders.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements for all companies accurately and well documented.
- Provide financial analysis to support business transactions and processes.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Accounting and CPA preferred.
- Public accounting experience a plus.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Microsoft Office skills.
