Staff Accountant

Investment firm in the KOP area is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to their Accounting Department due to recent growth of the company. This role will offer great exposure while working in a laid back and relaxed environment. 9-5 type of position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate and timely processing of accounts payable expenditures and disbursements, including but not limited to document review, vendor set-up and maintenance, invoice processing and payments.

• Oversee accounts receivable function, including fund and portfolio company billing and collection.

• Review and process employee expense reports monthly and ensure compliance with Firm policy.

• Record daily cash activity in the general ledger and perform monthly bank reconciliations.

• Ensure accurate coding of expenditures, including determining if the expense may be billed to a fund or portfolio company.

• Post month-end journal entries, including calculating dynamic bill-back allocations to funds and portfolio companies.

• Prepare annual Form 1099 filings.

• Analyze and reconcile accounts monthly.

• Assist with the enhancement of management company dashboard reporting in Intacct, including budget-to-actual P&L summary, cash forecasts and outstanding receivables.

• Assist with other ad-hoc financial reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
• Education: Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
