A global, multibillion-dollar, Medical Technologies Company is seeking an External Reporting Manager to join their team. This position will work closely with the Director of Finance and manage the SEC reporting.
Primary Responsabilities:
- Help with preparing and filing financial reports required by the SEC, 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Take part in the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes.
- Provide support during accounting discussions with management and auditors.
- Keep up with new accounting rules and ensure the company complies.
- Help manage disclosure issues and SEC filings.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing financial press releases and reports.
- Work as a point of contact with external auditors.
- Assist in setting up accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the budget for the reporting team.
- Handle other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, MBA is a plus
* CPA certificate
* 6+ years of public accounting/industry experience in an SEC reporting function
* Strong knowledge of technical accounting (GAAP and SEC rules)
