One of our well renowned clients is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant due to growth! This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that promotes from within, offers a competitive compensation package and great company culture!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain work papers for IRS Form 990T and 1120 filings, including unrelated business activities and indirect overhead allocation.
- Prepare supporting work papers for business income tax filings (federal and state), including apportionment worksheets and tax models.
- Request and gather internal information from various departments across the company.
- Coordinate tax forecasting efforts and maintain Excel schedules.
- Stay informed about changes in corporate income tax forms, tax apportionment concepts, and accounting for income taxes.
- Review income tax forms prepared by external advisors, ensuring form requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related
- 4+ years of tax accounting experience; experience within professional services or non-profit sector highly preferred
- Experience or working knowledge of IRS Form 990T, Form 1120, and relevant concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills
