JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Cost Accountant will perform analytics of costing for accuracy and understanding of variances and support to management with understanding costing for informed and proactive business decision making.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• • Develop and maintain our cost accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements
  • Conduct variance analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory accounting and timely completion of month-end close activities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet
  • Assist with the development of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as GAAP

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 of years of experince in public accounting or cost accounting
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Microsoft Office Experience Required (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP a plus
