Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role will heavily focus of cost accounting and inventory for two different locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to have a ton of automony in a role.
Responsibilites:
- Maintain G/L including monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Maintain monthly inventory and review any necessary changes
- Review cost for all inventory, labor, and material
- Assist with budget & forecasts
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or related field required
- 4-6 years of previous experience in manufacturing/engineering preferred
- Strong excel skills
- Knowledge of Sage 100 or ERP system preferred
