Responsibilities
- Processes bi-weekly payroll
- Maintains payroll files on all employees
- Maintains bi-weekly and monthly payroll allocations, prepares W-2s, and files various external payroll reports
- Maintains contact with external payroll allocations, inputting into the internal system
- Maintains contact with relevant local agencies and authorities that may have a lien against individual payroll accounts including voluntary payroll deductions such as life and/or pensions
- Communicate/Escalate any discrepancies to the Controller
- Adherence to deadlines that are set by the department.
- Maintains records based upon record retention schedule.
Requirements:
- 2+ years Payroll experience
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices, proficiency of ADP
- Trustworthy, understanding of confidentiality
- Subject to clearance and background checks in accordance with the company's regulatory compliance procedures
