Manufacturing client in Bucks County is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. Ideally, this person will have a strong Cost Accounting background. Company is known for their work-place culture, and this role will offer the opportunity to fast track to Assistant Controller for those interested
Responsibilities
- Coordinating all accounting operational functions (A/R, A/P, and General Accounting).
- Accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Preparing internal and external financial statements and operating reports.
- Providing management with accurate and timely information vital to the decision-making process.
- Assist in the improvement of accounting and internal control systems.
- Special Projects/assignments as directed by the Controller.
- Overseeing regulatory (state and local tax) reporting and compliance.
- Assist in the ERP implementation.
- Assist in Field Inventory.
Qualifications Required:
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's degree with major in accounting, finance or similar field highly preferred.
- Experience with an ERP implementation is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.
- Master's degree or advanced certification is a plus.
- 5+ years relevant experience in accounting required. Additional experience preferred but not required.
- Well-experienced, focusses on business objectives and highly effective in dealing with a broad range of accounting topics.
- Possesses solid communication, analytical, and management skills including extensive accounting software and spreadsheet experience.
- Possesses knowledge of all aspects of basic accounting.
- Manufacturing, cost accounting or auditing experience is also highly valued.
- Possesses the flexibility/adaptability to change projects on short notice.
