Position Summary:
An investment management firm is seeking a fund accountant to add to their expanding team. This position will serve as a primary contact of operations and help the team with assigned tasks and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review quarterly fund financial statements prepared by team members and administrators
- Assist in auditing fund financial statements
- Manage cash position entries and journal entries for a variety of private equity funds
- Work independently with clients to address questions
- Oversee aspects of the department's primary functions
- Present the department's objectives and initiatives to internal staff and current or potential clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (B.A., B.S., B.B.A.)
- 3+ years of experience
- Knowledge of private equity fund services industry is a PLUS
- Microsoft Office experience is a PLUS
