Global Manufacturing/Distribution company is looking to add a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include AP, AR, and payroll.
- Perform month-end closing activities and maintenance of an accurate general ledger.
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Assist in preparation of financial estimates.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide daily financial guidance to ensure the business is meeting financial objectives.
- Assist in strategic financial, accounting, and operational projects.
- Administer company internal control policy and adhere to US GAAP
- Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is needed
- 10+ years of experience
- CPA preferred
