Position Summary:
A multi-billion dollar company in the Medical Technologies Industry is seeking a Reporting Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible for managing all SEC reporting duties and various accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Help with preparing and filing financial reports required by the SEC, 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Take part in the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes.
- Provide support during accounting discussions with management and auditors.
- Keep up with new accounting rules and ensure the company complies.
- Help manage disclosure issues and SEC filings.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing financial press releases and reports.
- Work as a point of contact with external auditors.
- Assist in setting up accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the budget for the reporting team.
- Handle other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 6+ years of public accounting experience
- MBA is a plus
- CPA is a plus
