Position Summary:
A Real Estate Development company is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of tax accounting duties and work closely with upper management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare various tax returns (federal, state and local, sales and use).
- Generate tax documents.
- Manage schedules for year-end auditors.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of tax law.
- Oversee revenue generated systems to ensure tax rates are accurate.
- Work cross-functionally with other essential teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- 2+ years of experience
- GAAP understanding is a plus
