The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for billing, accounts receivable and sales tax filing. This person will also cover various general accounting tasks as well as be a backup for other duties within accounting department. This role is based in Exton, PA with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after a training period.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all Accounts Receivable and Billing related tasks
• Application of all customer payments (Lockbox, ACH, Credit card)
• Review A/R aging reports daily
• Reconcile customer accounts for any discrepancies and adjust accordingly
• Prepare A/R reporting (internal and external)
• Communicate with customers (open/past due balances, general inquiries)
• Process manual intercompany invoices, including management fee invoices
• Paperwork associated with projects and dealing with contractor forms, etc.
• Maintain tax exemption and update tax errors or mistakes when invoicing
• Reporting and file all monthly/quarterly/annual sales/use tax and withholding tax
• Act as backup to Payroll, Accounts Payable and GL functions

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in an accounting department.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
• ERP experience preferred.
• Previous experience maintaining sales tax filing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent / Well -Versed in MS Office - Excel, Word, Adobe
