Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting department! The Senior Accountant will have experience in the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reporting and present financials to management
- Perform GL maintenance and prepare journal entries
- Handle monthly closeouts and generate accounting reports
- Maintain balance sheets and bank accounts with reconciliations
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoicing, recons, GL)
- Provide audit support and respond to vendor requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, etc.)
