A growing firm in the Chicago area is looking to hire an Accounting Manager for their growing team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading all finance and accounting for the firm, so the Accounting Manager will do more than just accounting. The position will also include budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and M&A activity. The ideal candidate will have a CPA and financial accounting leadership experience in corporate and/or public accounting. This is a newly-created position and will report into the CFO.

Responsibilities will include cash management, financial accounting, financial statement preparation, financial planning (budgeting and forecasting), mergers & acquisitions, and project management. The Accounting Manager will also be the right hand to the leadership team in driving the long-term strategic plan. There is also a clear growth path to move into the CFO position in the future as part of a succession plan.
