Our client, a well-established Property Management company based in Portland, is seeking a Property Accountant on a temporary to hire basis to help with additional workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned organization and contribute to their continued success.

What you will be doing:
Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations for the monthly general ledger close process.
- Compile and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Assist in regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and/or review ledger entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger balances.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
- Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
- Prepare cash flow projections and monitor daily cash balances.
- Assist in maintaining the Yardi Information System, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
- Provide occasional supervision and guidance to accounting staff.
- Support budget preparation and ongoing financial monitoring.
- Assist in the preparation for the annual audit.
