Beacon Hill has teamed up with a client in Washington, DC that is looking to find a Junior Accountant to join their team. This position will report to the organization's Controller. This person will assist the accounting department while learning valuable accounting skills. - Deposit checks on a daily basis.
- Posting customer payments by input / posting high volume customer account payments.
- Reconciling bank deposits and posted items.
- Entering and verifying AP/AR invoices.
- Posting and reconciling branch checkbooks.
- Managing vendor and intercompany branch communications.
- Prepare monthly analysis of AP/AR accounts.
- Assist team with month-end, year-end closing, and audit activities.
