Our client is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant to their team to assist in the day to day operations of the Finance department. This will be very operational in scope and manufacturing experience is a plus.

Location: Clayton, MO (St. Louis)

Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 5:00 (hybrid - 2 days work from home each week, you choose the days)

Pay: $30 - 38 / hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES

• G/L account reconciliation and related analysis.
• Maintain capital expenditures and fixed assets.
• Preparation and posting of month-end journal entries as assigned.
• Prepare and analyze departmental reporting.
• Supports the delivery of ad hoc requests from management
• Works directly with shared service personnel to ensure that accounts are correct and reconciled and that closings are performed timely.
• Partner with other departments; assist in process flows.
• Maintain procedure and policy adherence to ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with U.S. G.A.A.P.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from a recognized academic institution
• 1-3 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP)
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
