JOB DESCRIPTION
HR MANAGER: DETAILS
Title: HR Manager
Location: Nashville TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $35-39/hour (75k-80k)
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 8am-5pm | Monday - Friday | 40 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS: HR MANAGER
* 4+ years of HR management experience preferred
* Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
* Must have experience or knowledge in process mapping, management, employee relations, benefits, TA
* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
* Analyze and evaluate programs, provide sound recommendations, and revise priorities and/or approaches to accommodate change requirements.
* PHR or SHRM-CP certification highly desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES: HR MANAGER
* Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering policy, benefits and leave programs, and enforcing company policies and practices.
* Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
* Maintains the HRIS platform and implements process improvements to employee data for accurate reporting.
* Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
* Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
* Reviews trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes initiatives and/or programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
* Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
* Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow ups, and issue resolution to closure.
* Develops working relationships with all other internal/external client's specialties as well as other functional areas.
* Significant strength of business office practices and procedures and actively pursue process enhancements
* Identifies and promotes suggestions to improve processes and quality of service.
