POSITION: PLANT CONTROLLER
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
LOCATION: INDEPENDENCE, OH
We are seeking a top-notch Plant Controller to join an international manufacturing company with an office based near Seven Hills, OH. This is a fully in office position. This person will be responsible for managing all controlling, accounting & reporting activities including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, appropriate Revenue Recognition & tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide daily support to the operational & finance teams.
Requirements & Experience
- Financial Controller Experience: Proven track record in managing financial operations, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Strong analytical skills and ability to guide team members in making data-driven decisions.
- 5+ Years in Accounting/Finance: Significant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Accounting Expertise: Deep understanding of accounting principles, especially in production and project businesses.
- Financial Statement Creation: Proficient in preparing financial statements.
- General Ledger & Closing: Skilled in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end processes.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledgeable in SAP ERP, Oracle, Cognos, and Power BI is a plus.
- MS Office Skills: Strong competency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
