Well established Financial Services corporation is in search for a Director/President of Tax for their St. Louis location. The ideal candidate will need a BS in Accounting, Active CPA license and a minimum of 15+ years of progressive tax experience. Responsibilities include oversee the strategic direction and management of tax providing expert advice to high-net-worth clients, corporations and other entities. Develop and implement tax planning strategies, maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations, represent the firm and it's clients before tax authorities and in legal proceedings and lead, mentor and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is an extremely important and integral part of the success of the company. My client is looking for driven, motivated and forward thinking candidates with excellent communication and mentoring skills. Salary is commensurate with experience but could pay up to $225K with profit sharing.
