POSITION: STAFF ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: AKRON, OH
INDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTION
A well established and rapidly growing construction company located in Akron, OH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! This is an in-office position with tons of opportunity for growth! We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to manage the preparation of financial accounting data across various areas. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively support the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting activities
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in line with the monthly close schedule
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0-2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
