Beacon Hill Financial has teamed up with a for-profit client of ours in Washington, DC, looking for their next Senior Accountant to join their team! This person will report to the Assistant Controller and be responsible for month-end close and overseeing the AP and AR department. Job Duties Include:
- Support the Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller in timely accurate monthly closing of the books and records.
- Perform financial analyses to determine trends and significant changes
- Prepare financial reports and filing for taxes and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with audit and year-end close processes.
- Assist with special projects on an as needed basis.
- Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
