We have mulitple clients around the Greater St. Louis area that are looking to bring on Accounts Payable Specialist to assist with their day to day accounting functions. These are great Entry to Mid level opportunities to get in with a great company and build experience. These roles are contract to hire.

Location: Greater St. Louis

Pay: $18 - 25 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Essential Functions:

• Reviews and tracks invoices, check requests and expense reimbursements for accuracy, proper approvals and other supporting evidence
• Ensures that there is no fraudulent activity with respect to invoices, check requests and expense reimbursements
• Partners with internal and external payment requestors to obtain sufficient information to support payments including invoices, tax id numbers, etc.
• Oversees the retention of documents by electronic scanning and filing
• Review vendor statements and takes initiative to question and resolve any disputes
• Communicates to all clients and responds to all of their inquiries
• Performs ad hoc projects/duties as they arise
