Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting department! The Senior Accountant will have experience in the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end closeout processes
- Prepare, post, and adjust month-end close GL journal entries
- Maintain financial statements, such as balance sheets, with reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of GL journal entries, financial reconciliations, and month-end reports
- Investigate variance analysis and present findings to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, etc.)
