Our client in the Desoto, TX area is looking to add a Cost Accountant to their growing team.
Responsibilities include:
Process cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead
Purchasing liaison to reconcile inventory
Bill of material audits
Perform ad-hoc analysis
Develop and maintain monthly KPIs as it relates to inventory, material costs, labor costs, variance analysis, and operational efficiencies
Month-end and year-end closing, including balance sheet reconciliations
Quarterly physical inventories and reconciliations
Assist with annual budget and forecast preparation
