Our client is growing rapidly and looking to add a Sr. Cost Accountant to their team on a contract to hire basis.
Some of the requirements include:
- Bachelors Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel/ Access skills (Data manipulation)
- Two years minimum of Cost or Manufacturing Accounting
- Three years plus of overall accounting experience
Some of the duites will include:
- Evaluate and revise cost for materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Perform Ad-Hoc analyses as necessary
- Work with internal partners to enhance precision in inventory, manufacturing, and related reporting
- Create and manage monthly KPIs related to inventory, material and labor costs, variance analysis, and operational efficiency
- Provide assistance in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling the balance sheet
