Our client, a real estate company located in Chelmsford, MA, is in search of a Facilities Assistant/Operations Assistant to join their team! This is a full time role, Monday through Friday, and compensates $24-25 an hour depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!
Tasks are as follows:
- Administrative (60%)
o Management of office supplies
o Mange vendors and suppliers for office support
o Provide assistance for contract management
o Capital asset support
o Ariba & SAP Purchase Order Management
o Site access control for visitors and employees
o Shipping and receiving
o Communications with Landlord on lease compliance, issues and updates
o Support requests associated with the office, including Fleet, reports, printers, etc.
o Central point of contact for site wide updates and communications
o Oversee janitorial teams
- Technical (20%)
o Provide general lab support items, including vendor / supplier coordination
o Oversee maintenance items associated with lease and office (i.e., electrical & mechanical systems)
o Assist with delivery and receipt of non-hazardous chemicals
o Assist with IT projects, updates and rollouts to the site
- Safety (15%)
o Work with EHS teams for safety and compliance
o Active member of site safety committee
o Provide assistance to maintain local safety PPE and Equipment and keep current
o Assist with upkeep through documentation and collaboration with EHS
o Safety Management by Walking Around
- Employee Experience (5%)
o Initiate key communication with employees regarding key events
o Assist with Wellness activities
o Plan and execute employee events
o Work with local team to determine future events, volunteer and, outreaches
