Asset Control Specialist
We are assisting our client, a Boston based Asset Management firm with an immediate opening for an Asset Control Specialist. This is a hybrid role that will require being onsite in Boston a couple days a week. Interested candidates must have a Bachelors degree and 1+ year of account reconciliation experience at Custodian bank or Investment firm.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling cash and assets between the company and custodians on a daily basis
- Reduces exposure to non-trading currencies by monitoring currency balances and overdrafts
- Assisting the team to ensure appropriate repatriation and requesting foreign exchange transactions
- Identifies potential risk areas, workflow inefficiencies and suggests improvements to the management team.
- Assists Team Leaders in reviewing daily and monthly reports, and assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
- Assists with testing new systems/processes/procedures, provides coverage as assigned and trains new employees on daily tasks.
