Accountant - AP Audit- Lakeville, MA
Our client, a family-owned food distributing company, is seeking an Accountant - AP Audit to join their team on a temporary basis, slated for 9 months. Ideal applicants can accommodate a commute to Lakeville on a hybrid basis, with opportunity for more remote work once trained.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile Accounts Payable clearing accounts
- Assist with the research and reporting of Unclaimed Property
- Lead the Accounts Payable audit with the assistance of a third-party AP audit company
- Provide analytical support to the AP Manager
- Help to develop and maintain AP policies and procedures
- Ensure current policy and procedures are followed
Qualifications:
- Must have QuickBooks Enterprise version experience
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Need to be independent and comfortable wearing many hats
