Payroll Specialist - Newburyport, MA
We are working with a healthcare organization seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis for about 3-months. Applicants must be able to accommodate a commute to Newburyport for training. Once trained, this role can transition to a hybrid work schedule and only come onsite for payroll processing days.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing
- Handle any retroactive pay
- Assist with audits
- ACH processing
- Maintain payroll data
Requirements:
- Associates degree is required
- 1-3+ years of relevant work experience handling payroll or dealing with timesheets
- Experience using a payroll processing system - Peoplesoft or Oracle preferred
