Payroll/Accountant
Our client, a travel & tourism business, is seeking a Payroll/Accountant to join their team! This position will be handling the general ledger activity for the corporate office in the Seaport and assisting the Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts and to liaise with Department Business owners/Regional Offices to resolve all reconciling issues
- Assist with corporate month end close process
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Prepare and/or maintain supporting schedules and analysis for balance sheet accounts
- Income Statement account analysis
- Perform miscellaneous accounting related projects
- Financial statement reviews for regional entities
- Support preparation for Year-end Audit
- Assist with processing payroll for over 300 employees in the US, UK, & Ireland
