Staff Accountant - Boston, MA
Our client, an intellectual property law practice, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! This would be a hybrid working schedule, requiring 2 days a week onsite! This position would work alongside the AP Staff Accountant and the Controller. This role is projected to be a 3-6 month long contract. The primary responsibility of this role will be in the general ledger and trust functions.
Responsibilities:
- Performs month and year end balancing and closing duties.
- Reviews invoices for sales and use tax compliance.
- Reconciles their system daily and resolves any outstanding issues.
- Additional duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar function is preferred
- 1+ years of work experience in accounting is a plus!
- Experience using MS Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred!
