Comptroller - Roxbury, MA

We are working with a client, located in Roxbury, MA, who is looking for a Comptroller to join their team! The comptroller is responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role involves overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts revenue analysis
• Planning, organizing and directing all accounting functions
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Oversee all aspects of the accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration or related business field
• 4+ years of related experience in fund accounting
• Jenzabar experience is a plus!
