Reference Data Analyst
As a Reference Data Analyst, your role will involve performing core workflows within security reference data and pricing domains, along with daily quality control tasks. You will work with internal teams and market data vendors to refine pricing and reference data processes. The Data Integrity teams are looking for an analyst who can tackle complex problems and help advance our world-class Reference Data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of financial instruments as requested by Investors and Trading teams.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to complex and routine reference data inquiries.
- Execute daily validation and initiation procedures to maintain data integrity and consistency across platforms.
- Develop a thorough understanding of internal systems and related datasets to aid in solution design and support issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and brokers to address issues and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for increased productivity, process improvements, scalability, and enhanced data quality and controls.
- Resolve business and system issues in collaboration with Technology experts, data vendors, brokers, and internal data users.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Investment Compliance, Trading, Fund Services, and Legal to ensure optimal outcomes for purchases, client permissibility, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, etc.)
- 2+ years of fund operations experience within financial services, including internships.
