Project Accountant
We are assisting a law office in their search for a detail-oriented Finance Project Accountant to join their team for a critical cleanup project focused on reconciling client balances and conducting bank reconciliations. This role will play a key part in supporting their finance department in addressing a significant backlog of balances that require thorough analysis and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify discrepancies in client balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with collections, billing, and accounts payable teams to apply balances appropriately.
- Prepare and present findings on reconciled balances and outstanding issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing processes to improve future reconciliation efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in reconciliation and financial analysis.
- Experience in professional services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
