A leading Law Firm in the greater Boston area is looking to hire a Legal Training and Development Manager to join their HR team. In this role, you will develop and oversee high-quality training programs, including comprehensive training curriculums, projects, and initiatives for attorneys. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on Training and Development. Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director and Managers of Professional Development to assess training needs, develop content, and make recommendations and formal proposals regarding new training efforts.
• Measure and assess training programs for relevancy, quality, and effectiveness.
• Organize and executes logistics for weekly firmwide trainings, including best practices around delivery and communication of training programs.
• Spearhead monthly program for junior legal practitioners.
• Collaborate with the firm's DEI Manager to implement programs to further the firm's retention, development, and promotion of attorneys and technology specialists from groups historically underrepresented in the legal profession.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive and relevant HR experience
• Experience with and knowledge of legal training, adult learning concepts, program design, and/or attorney career progression
• Demonstrated track record designing and implementing programs geared toward professional growth
• Ability to deliver high quality work while maintaining a client service focus and meeting established deadlines
