Our client, a premier boutique Investment Firm in the greater Boston area, is looking to hire an HR Associate to join their team. In this role, you will report to the Head of HR and assist with all aspects of HR including: benefits, onboarding/offboarding, interviews and scheduling, payroll, and ad hoc HR projects. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of HR experience. Previous experience in the financial or professional services industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Head of HR to understand and execute the firms' Human Resource and talent strategies.
- Manage and innovate the onboarding and offboarding process for all new colleagues.
- Identify, research, track and analyze trends in compensation, benefits and employee recognition. Assist and contribute with payroll and retirement plans.
- Support recruiting efforts with job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate experience.
- Assist with additional HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant Human Resources or similar experience in a professional office environment
- High attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication; Strong interpersonal skills
- High degree of confidentiality, dependability, and reliability
- Competency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, LinkedIn
