Our client, a private investment firm, is seeking a Director of Compensation. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, this person will be responsible for supporting the compensation program for multiple business units.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Compensation design, modeling, and analysis
  • Benchmarking, planning, and forecasting
  • Manage year-end and mid-year compensation salary and bonus and cycles
  • Collaborate with business unit and HRBP's to provide leadership and guidance on annual compensation reviews, bonus planning, and carried interest awards as well as to develop competitive offers including base salary, incentive compensation, equity, etc.
  • Manage and mentor junior compensation professionals to further growth of the team
  • Create materials/spreadsheets on compensation and analysis for executive meetings - ability to attend and present when required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12+ years of previous experience in an analytical Compensation role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Understanding of financial concepts (e.g. P&L, balance sheet)
  • Financial modeling experience
