Our client is looking for a Tier1 Help Desk Technician to join their team. This role is a 5-6 month contract to hire that is 5 days a week onsite.
Position Description:
Providing technical support to customers
Troubleshooting problems (running tests, providing remote access)
Will work on proprietary software and be trained on how to use this
Respond to customer requests by phone and email
Troubleshoot Active Directory and Exchange issues (ex. password resets)
Resolving LAN, WAN and other system issues
Estimated 20-30 tickets/day per technician
Help train incoming staff
Clean up computers, maintain daily performance of computer systems
Create training materials for clients
Will be the only IT person in this office
Required Skills:
Help Desk Technician or customer service role experience
Strong Communication Skills
Ability to solve technical/computer issues
Ability to work as only IT person in office
Bonus Skills:
Active Directory
Exchange
ITIL Knowledge or Incident ticketing system
Technical Certs or Education
