Human Resources Manager

Company in Huntersville is looking for a Recruiter/Human Resources Manager. Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM $75k + based on experience. Direct hire.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with leadership team to understand and execute the talent strategy with current and future needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
  • Prepare and ensure accurate job postings and job requisitions
  • Coordinate and/or conduct interviews with job candidates including both entry level and senior management
  • Process all New Hire Documentation- including but not limited to offer letters, employment contracts, submitting background checks, facilitating Drug Screens, verification of certification and previous employment per company guideline
  • Lead the onboarding process for newly hired employees and process all necessary new hire paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations for multiple states
  • Needs to be able to handle all aspects of recruitment!
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment with the broker by assisting the setup of the online portal and communicating company benefits to employees (use Mercer for Benefits - works with Mercer to coordinate enrollment and other benefits)
  • Work with HRIS company to set up new rates in the portal and ensure EDI files are flowing correctly
  • Conduct annual ACA audit
  • Partner with appropriate carriers to process any employee changes or address any employee concerns
  • Assist employee with any benefits changes due to status changes and qualifying events

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources - REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or construction-related field preferred
  • HRIS experience
  • PHR or SMHR-CP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient in computer applications including Office, and professional social media and job posting websites.
