Our client, a non-profit organization in Arlington, VA, is seeking a direct-hire HR Manager to join their team!

About You:

  • 5+ years of previous HR experience (i.e., managing employee relations matters, performance reviews, performance review systems, etc.).
  • Recruiting and staffing experience with a working knowledge of HR laws/regulations.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, human resource systems, Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and/or project management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.

The Job:

  • Act as focal point for employee relations, managing all aspects of HR operations.
  • Develop and administer human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and federal/state legal requirements.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, orientation, and exit processes/procedures.
  • Coordinate distribution/communication of projects including the Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, employee recognition, etc..
  • Other tasks/duties as required by the role.
