Quality Control Technician

As a Quality Technician, you will support the development and implementation of a world-class quality system and drive the development of quality processes that are core to the company's success.
We are looking for a hands-on, highly-organized individual who is interested in making a difference in a dynamic and exciting entrepreneurial environment. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of millions of patients worldwide.
This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee.
The Quality Technician role will support operations through:
  • Quality Control parts inspections
  • Working with the research and development department when need arises
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work areas
  • Respecting and enforcing the principles of full traceability of products and components
Experience:
  • Motivated individual looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical fundamentals.
  • Technical associate's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with calipers, comparators and micrometers
  • Proficient with basic Microsoft Excel formulas
  • Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems a plus
  • Medical device and clean room experience a plus
  • Experience in lab and manufacturing environments
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented, self-starter
  • Strong communication skills
