Job Description: Great New Hampshire law firm adding a litigation assistant/paralegal to their team. The ideal candidate will be a curious self starter and a confident contributor of ideas, eager to work as a team with the ability to take initiative.
Primary duties:
- All all aspects of case preparation, including scheduling, docket management, meeting with clients, preparation of court pleadings and exhibits, research, brain storming, and review and summary of medical records. Research skills are a must and the ability to skillfully communicate verbally and in writing are valued attributes in this position.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of legal principles and practices as well as NH Laws
- Professionally and effectively communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and co-workers.
- Experience and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, excel, word perfect and adobe
Education and Experience:
Two years on-the-job experience in providing substantive legal support work, preferably in a law firm or financial institution setting is required. A college degree is preferable; a high school degree is required.
