New England Law seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Boston office. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years' litigation legal assistance experience. This position will support 3 Partners.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Facilitate conflict checks
  • Open new matters
  • Time Entry
  • Reviewing, processing and submitting monthly client invoices
  • Submitting expense reports using Chrome River
  • Submitting vendor invoices
  • Creating and organizing physical and electronic binders using PDFdocs
  • Tracking court schedules and calendars
  • E-filing in State and Federal Courts
  • Communicate with clients, court, counsel and others
  • Prepare trial binders and exhibits
  • Summary process experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience with state court appellate briefs and filings
  • Assisting with trial preparation
  • Scheduling deposition appearances
  • Establishing and maintaining paper and/or electronic filing systems
  • General administrative support for multiple attorneys
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal admin role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work well with attorneys, colleagues and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good judgment and decision-making ability
