Beacon Hill Legal is working with our mid-sized law firm client on a litigation legal assistant opportunity. This positin is hybrid in Torrance, CA and is on site Tues/Thurs. 5+ years of defense litigation expereince is required.
Your duties in this role will include:
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Filing documents in state and federal courts
- Preparing and maintaining charts with hyperlinks for documents
- Preparing binders for attorneys and judges
- Creating and saving documents and emails to a document management system (iManage) in accordance with firm policy
- Calendaring legal due dates in CompuLaw
- Scheduling meetings and other calendar commitments
- Making travel arrangements and processing expense reports
- Processing client disbursements
- Organizing and maintaining case files
