Job Summary
Monitor and maintain the biorepository facility including associated equipment and support biorepository client use of the facility.

Fundamental Responsibilities Works autonomously performing daily, weekly, monthly, annual, biennial, etc. preventative maintenance, and function verification of equipment. To include documentation and notification of supervisor of all out of range and negative trend results.

Make decisions that will affect outcomes: Application of quality practices (GCP, GLP, GMP, GDP, ISBER) to positively impact environmental/ research compliance and quality of samples used in research.

Recognizes when outcomes/conditions are not as expected, performs investigations and refers to management for corrective and preventive action decisions. May be required to lead implementation of modifications in procedures to satisfy the corrective and preventive actions.

Sharing on-call responsibility for response to facility or equipment alarms on nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications Education Required:
H.S. Diploma or GED

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications Work Required:
2 years of office, laboratory, research, customer service, or patient-related experience
