This position is within a clinical diagnostic reference laboratory, looking for individuals with a strong knowledge of hematology and/or blood banking.

Minimum Requirements & Preferred Abilities Required Skills, Education, and Experience
* MT/MLT and 1 to 5+ years of lab experience
* MLS/CLS with 1+ years of lab experience
* Bachelors degree and 1 to 5+ years of clinical lab experience
* Demonstrated ability to build, develop and work within a clinical laboratory team, including creative problem solving and flexibility to meet rapid growth.
* IT and LIS (laboratory information systems) experience and general comfort level with computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces.
* Able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory instruments in a timely manner, and have a working knowledge of LIS procedures.
* Team leadership, friendly and loves a challenge.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
* Robust organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in fast paced STAT environment.
* Strong computer skills and ability to work within windows and Laboratory Information System environment
* Proficient knowledge in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, fluid analysis, Serology

Preferred candidate qualifications:
* Experience with 2-3 of the following instruments: Advia 2120i, Immulite 2000 XPi, AU680/5800, Clinitek Advantus, or Stago STarT.
* Must be available for evenings as needed and rotating weekends.
* Team leadership, friendly and loves a challenge.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
* Robust organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced STAT environment.

Physical and Time requirements:
* Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
* Able to lift up to 30lbs
* Flexible hours and overtime may be required
