Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and recording all payable transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining vendor relationships, reconciling accounts, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify that invoices have proper approvals and supporting documentation.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system for payment.
• Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs.
• Reconcile payment transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate remittance to vendors.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve issues, answer inquiries, and establish positive relationships.
