We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This position offers a unique opportunity for career advancement, as the successful candidate will have the chance to transition into an Accounting Manager role on a temp-to-hire basis.

Job Summary:
As a Senior Accountant on the Accounting Manager track, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and reporting processes. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing various accounting tasks, working closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall success of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate audit schedules and assist in the annual external audit process.
• Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is designed as a temporary role with the intention of transitioning the successful candidate into an Accounting Manager role based on performance and alignment with organizational goals.
